Opportunity for All
Ravalli Services Thrift Store is located in the heart of the beautiful Bitterroot Valley, Hamilton Montana. Having been a part of the Hamilton community for over 40 years, our Thrift Store has been developing opportunities for adults with developmental, intellectual, and physical disabilities from the very beginning. We sell clothing, shoes, cookware, linens, children’s apparel/toys, and many other household items. We are able to provide opportunities for community integration while teaching valuable job skills. We are proud to say that 100% of our sales go toward supporting the individuals we serve, which would not be possible without the generosity and support of all those who donate and shop.
The Thrift Store is part of Ravalli Services Work Activity Center or affectionately known as (WAC). WAC consists of three separate facilities, where up to 25 clients work with support from their staff performing the various duties necessary to help our entire operation run smoothly and efficiently.
- Intake is where a wide variety of donations are accepted and separated. All clothing and soft miscellaneous items are then sent to Processing.
- Processing is where clothing and soft miscellaneous are sorted, tagged, hung, and prepared for delivery to our Thrift store.
- The Thrift Store is where all of our donated items are displayed and sold at value based prices.
Donations:
Our thrift store sells items that have been donated by the community. 100% of our sales go toward supporting the individuals we serve.
In order to keep our prices low, please follow these guidelines when donating:
We do not take large appliances, furniture, mattresses, entertainment centers, TVs (except flat screens), car seats, cribs, food items, or items needing significant cleaning or repair. RSC provides Community donation pickups from Victor to Charlos Heights. Call (406) 363-4196 to arrange a Pickup.
